Why isn't Mookychick also for boys?

Dear Mookychick,

I'm writing this mail because I was checking your website,

and I realised that it is destinated for girls,

I'm wondering if you could destinate it for boys too?

I mean, I visit your website twice a week and even more sometimes to take some advice, tips and "How to's

And congratulations. It's a perfect website,

But I would really like a destination for boys too...

Thanks for reading this,

I hope you have understood.

Love, Anonymous Me xxx

The Mookychick answer to your problem

relationship advice

Magda says...

Dear Mookyduke,

Can we call you that? We've been discussing what to call boy Mookychicks for a long time, probably for as long as boys have existed. Should a boy be a Mookyduke? Mook? Mookster? Mookypup? Mookydude? The Duke of Mook? The fact that there is a word for it shows that Mookydukes exist and we know it. We have a few of them on our messageboard community already.

We're all Mooks, anyway. And Mookychick is a good place to be reminded of how life really is when you're with people who feel the same way. Since this site is mostly written by girls for girls (hey, everyone! We've only had 3 guy writers - ever!) it's always going to be slightly from a girl's point of view when it comes to fashion and girlishness. But we are so happy and honoured that there are boys out there who feel the same way about the world as we do, and we commend those boys on their good taste. I guess it's just a challenge, really - when is a boy going to set up the equivalent of this site? Until that time, I can't promise we'll have more duke-flavoured articles on Mooks (unless we get a few more talented boy writers now and then), but we'll keep doing articles that aren't just about girls, but about people...

Mission statement

Mookychick believes that climbing trees and riding giant turtles is more fun and girly than worrying about make-up. But if you want to worry about make-up instead of turtles? Fine by us. Be you feminist, kitten, punk, emo, indie, goth, witch, vegan, horror junky, intellectual, christian goth, corset queen, geek, unicorn, sea monkey... be you into alternative style, alternative health, spirituality, comics, manga, j-pop, harajuku or jock culture... we will always love you.
