If you’d love to rock a blue lip but you’re feeling a bit nervous, I’ve got a middle ground option for you, and it’s honestly one of my favourite things, often incorporating itself into my daily look. Blue-tinted lip gloss!
Blue tints are ready to make a MASSIVE splash in the beauty scene. You may have already spotted the Insta-filter face powder, which, surprise, has a blue tint.
Blue reflects light particles, so it blue tint lip glosses give the effect of brightening the whole face, and making your white bits (teeth, eyes) look whiter, meaning you look lovely and awake.
I’ve created my Office Pixie look using Winky Lux’s Unicorn Tears. This blue tint lip gloss is a holographic glitter tube of sheer delight (and even the box is beautiful!)
The Unicorn Tears gloss has a lilac-blue tint, looking purple in the bottle but going on an amazing sheer blue with lots of sparkle. While it doesn’t deliver the mythical 3D unicorny swatch amazement it promised online, it is quite beautiful, and super easy to wear. I’m a fan.
