It's a good thing to save up for... but not every mook wants (or can afford) the real deal. There's no point in judging. Yes, of course Mookychick supports the cottage industries crafting quality corsets for those who are willing to save for quality and lasting beauty. We also know that some impoverished mooks would rather have the quick fashion fix of, say, a cheap corset under £20. Let's be clear, here - when online corsets shops refer to 'fashion corsets' what they mean is 'cheap' corsets that look the part but are made from poorer materials with far less true structured corsetry. Fashion corsets won't cost the earth - and they won't last forever, either. No will they be such a perfect fit for you. Basically - spending more money on a corset is worth it. Sirens and Starlets

Sirens and Starlets regularly have corsets under £20 - which, as we all know, is the all-important number for dividing when a large item of clothing is cheap and when it isn't. They specialise in cheap fashion corsets with a gothic / victorian / burlesque theme. In terms of corset colours, expect a lot of black, pink, red and purple. They're an Etsy shop with options to buy it now. Corset sizes do vary but seem to range between around 8-18.

Corsets UK

When we checked, Corsets UK have a waist-training corsets section with prices starting at £46, and a dedicated plus-size section, too. They have a very nice range of punk, pvc and boned corsets (again, prices seem to start at just under £50. But - importantly - they have a fashion corsets section. Most items in this range are between £20-£25, but you can select a price filter to specifically search for corsets under £20. If you follow Corsets UK on Facebook they do regular 'Corsets of the Day' deals where they sell a number of different corset designs off cheaply.

Burleska

So far as we can tell, all Burleska corsets are fashion corsets, and they all seem to cost a penny shy of £40. If you look in the Clearance section you'll find bits and bobs - we found the pink gingham underbust pictured for a penny under £20.

Paper Cats (Poland)

We've cleverly linked to the corset page translated into english. Paper cats are so, so lovely! You don't have to be Polish to shop from them. Their corsets are GORGEOUS, with very classy rockabilly / gothic / indie designs, and yes, they're cheap. As a rule of thumb, £1 British pound is 5 Polish zloty. And you know how we write £100 as £100.00? The Polish write zl 100 as zl 100,00. Don't be scared by that comma! Paper Cat corsets DO NOT cost one hundred thousand zloty. In fact, they tend to cost around 110 zloty - which is just over £20. And for mere cheap fashion corsets they're very nice quality, too...

Timeless Trends

Okay, so Timeless Trends aren't that cheap. But they're a good halfway house. If you check their Clearance section (which is what we linked to) you'll find all sorts of lovely items from $75-90 USD. Not just purely fashion corsets, either - you can expect steel boning, and real attention to detail in unusual fabrics and sophisticated colour choices. If you want to get some decent quality and spend a little (but not too much) more, then Timeless Trends are a firm favourite for the bargain prices.

Corset Story

This is a mirror site for Corsets UK - pretty much the same corsets available, and certainly the same categories (we linked to the fashion corsets one as it's cheapest). We saw a pink corset dress on there for $21 USD but corsets are around the $34-45 USD price range.

Punk69

Punk69 are based in India and they're very good (and very cheap indeed), shipping to anywhere in the world. They used to be just a wholesalers, but now you can order individual corsets direct from them. How cheap are Punk69 corsets? Well, first you can select your corset type, size, fabric, liner and stays type. As a test, we selected a matt black pleather flat steel boned corset (out of an option of steel or spiral boned) with a busk front opening and a 4 stay suspender type in organic cotton. It turns out that to have this made and shipped to the USA cost $49 USD. The catch? Your order has to be $199 or above. Discounts and courier service charges vary with price ranges of items bought - so if you buy $199 USD worth of corsets (that's basically 4 corsets) you'll need to pay $49 charges to have them shipped to the USA. Cheap corsets, yes... but you'd have to save up and get a few (or set up your own corset stall, hmmm?) to make it worth your while.

Leatherotics

Why, may you ask, have we placed a .co.uk site in our Asia section? We'll tell you why. Our malaysian journalist KathTeaChin discovered Leatherotics will ship a 7-inch metal busk waist trainer underbust to Malaysian for only £7.5 shipping charges. If you live in Asia and find it difficult to get cheap corsets online (since Maylasia is more Korean and Japanese in its fashion tastes and burlesque clothing is harder to source), then Leatherotics may well be worth a shot.
