WIN! ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS on DVD

5 DVDs to give away! ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS is a magical live–action adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale featuring an all-star cast headed by Kate Beckinsale, Steve Coogan, Ian Holm and Geoffrey Palmer. Discover the grown-up Alice for yourself. Enter now!

Competition closes on 10 November 2011.

This timeless family favourite will be released on DVD on 7 November 2011 courtesy of Second Sight Films.

Alice (Beckinsale) returns to the strange world of Wonderland, this time through a mirror, where she joins the Red Queen in a giant game of chess. She once again encounters all the weird and wonderful characters: the odd-ball twins Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the White Queen, the Red and White Knights, Humpty Dumpty, and the scary Jabberwocky. As she continues her adventure things become curiouser and curiouser - naturally!

Those who've seen the film have described it as "a unique treatment, done in a subtle way for thoughtful people", to "allow for the nuances of meaning that the mathematician author placed into his book. With more obvious acting, the movie would have become clichéd." The film in remarkably true to the book, with a deliciously deadpan Pythonesque delivery, though Alice has grown up in order to avoid the pitfalls of using a precocious child actor to capture Alice's journey.

So... dust off your very best hairband. Arm yourself with a little knowledge of the philosophy of Alice in Wonderland. Invite your friends for an unbirthday or Mad Hatter's tea party. Sink into the world of ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS, a children's classic... just as soon as you've entered our competition!
