Bangers & Mash is one of the new London darlings of the indie kid scene. They're not a person, nor indeed some sausages and potato artfully arranged on a plate. Bangers & Mash are a London club night that moves around, but their most cherished venues are The Garage (Islington) and 93 Feet East in Brick Lane.

WHAT YOU CAN WIN

The prize: An amazing free night of partying in London for 5 people! You and 4 friends win entry to the club, a 2-course dinner, a cocktail per person, an hour of bowling and 1 hour of karaoke in luxury karaoke booths.

When: 1st April 2010 (thursday, but it's no-work friday because it's bank holiday!)

Where: All Star Lanes, Brick Lane, London

What can you expect from a Bangers & Mash event?

Well, they do like to keep it eclectic.

The music: Bangers & Mash host regular club nights at the Garage every saturday and play a mish-mash of Indie, Rock & Roll and Electronica to Hiphop, Funk, Ska and Motown. They tend to mix it up with DJ sets but also live sets from bands hotly tipped for the future.

The participation: Bangers & Mash also believe in a little bit of ad hoc art and participation. At a typical Bangers & Mash night you can expect to find free props and dress-up fancies to wear and swap with others, live caricature and face art, games and a photo booth to be silly in. Rokit Vintage Stores will also be in the house giving away some fancies and entertaining.
