Paradox Omega Oil
by Lotte Daley
At last! A fish oil that doesn't taste of fish. Omega oil is truly super. It's recommended for weight loss, memory loss, luscious hair, strong nails and all sorts. Apart from flax & hemp oils it's mainly found in fish - so here's one that tastes of lemon...
I really want to be thinner. I want to have glossy hair like the women who've just stepped out of a salon and not a wind tunnel (wind tunnel is the style my hair favours). I want to be able to have such a sharp, photographic, memory so that I can recall zillions of random facts and be useful in the pub quiz. Not just on the celebrity questions. I wish I could remember just the basic things, like where my keys are, what was I doing last Tuesday off the top of my head, and also, if there was a pill invented, would I remember to take it? I'm not a fan of chemicals and favour things that help me in a natural way. No pesky evil phosphates and carbon stuff in my dinner, thanks very much!
Each year, especially n the middle of summer, it's hot and glorious and men have their chests and legs out and so do the girls. And of course, I still eat too much and don't move quickly enough so I'm still missing out on being uber healthy. There must be an easier way?
We all make New Year resolutions then make the first fortnight of January even worse for ourselves by adding in a dollop of guilt. We don't prioritise the wellbeing of our bodies with the same vigour as December 31st. Cereal bods bombard us with the two week challenge so we can fit in with the size Zeros. I thought... let's buck the trend and make a New You resolution for today, each and every day because at least in the space of 24 hours it's possible to stick to it.
Omega oil - does it work?
So there I was, sat in front of my life's oracle, Google, furiously typing in words like 'Thin' and 'Happy ' and 'Hair like Kelly Brook' and most importantly to me, 'The Natural Way.' And I came up with, er, Fish Oil.
Yep. For someone who hates fish, I was quite grossed out by this. I mean, I hate fish. It makes me want to vomit my insides out.
I posted on Facebook, asking if anyone else had heard of this. People had, and what's more, my friends who take it swear by it. Shovelled into their schoolbags by frantic mums ahead of any exam, they said it works. Dubious as they were that a little pill filled with oily fish could make them academic superstars with, yes, believe it or not, hair like Kelly Brook and nice nails that they grew themselves without the aid of LA nails, and also, weirdly, they said they got slimmer. Despite eating Mars bars for sugar hits during a study slump.
Not wholeheartedly convinced, the journalist in me did a little digging and this is what I found. Of the many different fishy pill products out there, I found one that wouldn't make me throw up due to my intense hatred of fish. That was my biggest issue – how could I stomach a fish pill when I have such a strong aversion to it? Problem solved, Paradox Omega Oil comes in a lemon flavour. You can take it in a pill and you can pop it on a teaspoon and drink it. And it doesn't taste of fish!
Not only that but sciencey type people back it up. According to leading Osteopath Dr. Geoff Hayhurst, the magic formula that Paradox Omega Oils have tapped in to focuses on fats found in the Mediterranean and Eskimo diets. Dr Hayhurst discovered that folks coming from these lovely parts of the world were eating a diet rich in essential 'good' fats that were missing from other leading Fish Oil supplements.
Using these 'good' fats, he developed a supplement with highly potent concentrated versions of Omega 3, 6 and 9 designed to boost your hair, skin, nails and memory and help you lose weight.
Super pill? The Government are always waffling on about how important your five a day is, and also Omega Fish Oil. It's included in many products now a days, loads of breads, butters and what not. And now, an easy way to get it into your system.
I'm all for being organic and healthy so if anything's going to improve my wellbeing and help me remember what my own name is then Paradox Omega Oil capsules are a winner for me.
Now, where did I put them?
