Although officially sociable I'm feeling complicated...

Dear Mookychick,

I'm very depressed. I'm in my final weeks as a graduating senior, I have boys and girls chasing me left and right to hook up and go to prom, I have great friends, spring is finally blooming and I have college almost all the way figured out. But I'm not happy. I have so many thoughts and emotions but I just can't figure out how to express them, I never have. I paint a lot and try to get stress and emotions out on my pieces but it never helps.

What can I do to help myself free myself of all my thoughts and emotions? Should I try something new...?

The Mookychick answer to your problem

Ashley says...

relationship advice Start a journal. Just one sentence per day answering the basic question 'Can I stand being inside my own head today?' You'll find out if the 'never' statement is true.

A lot of times, all you need is some perspective before you see that you're actually unhappy one day out of 30, or 20, and that the rest of the time you're pretty all right.
