C. Evans Mylonas was a mental health case manager at one of Los Angeles County’s juvenile facilities. The stories she heard from many of the young girls housed there are reflected in her poetry. She later became a contributing writer for the Oshana Regional Library Newsletter in Oshakati, Namibia where she volunteered as an English instructor. Ms. Mylonas has been published in Thema Literary Journal, Skipping Stones Magazine, The Bangalore Review, and Atticus Review, and is a two-time scholarship recipient of Western Michigan’s Summer Writing Program in Prague. She currently resides in Phoenix, AZ where she is working on her first novel.
