Carla Sofia Ferreira

Carla Sofia Ferreira is a Portuguese American poet from Newark, New Jersey. She currently teaches English language development to immigrant students in the Bay Area. Her poems live in Cotton Xenomorph; Reclaim: An Anthology of Women’s Poetry; and Brave Voices Magazine, among others, with book reviews, published or forthcoming in Glass and The Denver Quarterly. She is a night owl with a black cat.
