How to crochet an infinity scarf you’ll love forever
When I’m not smashing the patriarchy or writing, I like to crochet. It’s faster than knitting and once you’ve got the dark craft down you can make all kinds of cool stuff.
That said, I am terrible at following patterns, so my own particular style of crochet falls under the guerilla variety. I wing it – a lot!
This scarf is great for beginners because it’s simple and you can make it as long as you want and as thick as you want. It’s totally customisable and because it’s crochet, not knitting, it’s super fast to make!

Foundation chain
CH – As long as you want the scarf to be!
Smooth out the chain, make sure there are no twists and slip stitch to connect and make a large circle.
Chain 3 stitches
Then double crochet in each chain (by which I mean you hook the yarn before you go through the chain) till you reach the end then repeat. Don’t forget to chain 3 each time to reach the start of the circle. This video may help.
Keep going until you reach the desired thickness.
Told you it was easy!
