Tell Me One True Thing

Tell me one true thing
So that I may see 
Into your soul,
Touch the depths of
Your heart and feel
All that you really are.

Hide not your feelings,
Your hopes and dreams,
But let me hold them
Close, nurture them, 
Watch them grow 
And soar to the sky.

Trust me with the truth
Of who you are,
Show me your pain,
The scars you shield,
So that I might share
My truth with you.

Tell me one true thing
So that we may rise
Together, reaching
Untold heights of
Wonder, and leave
The lies behind.
