Tarot Horoscopes – August 2020
Greetings friends! It’s time for your August reading. As you can see from the Hub card, there is a great focus this month on both hard work and self-evaluation. But as I was working through the readings, I noticed another common theme: the importance of community. How timely – let’s do our best to band together this month and work for the betterment of us all. Best wishes to you.
Hub – Knight of Pentacles
No matter the suit, the Knight is a card of action. For Pentacles, this manifests in good old-fashioned elbow grease. This card tells us to keep our goals in sight, and to never give up. We must also ask ourselves if we are using our energy efficiently. Are we focusing on the right things, or neglecting others in the process?
Aries – Strength
This is a card of bravery, and Aries is a sign of courage. It’s time to be brave – to dig in your heels and then charge ahead. As you do, remember that courage must be paired with compassion – that is the true meaning of inner strength.
Taurus – Ace of Swords
This card speaks of raw strength and enormous potential. This can be dangerous to wield, but Taurus is a steady sign. You have both the strength and the patience to reach your goals, and when you get there you will be stronger than ever.
Gemini – Nine of Cups
One thing this year has emphasized is the need to help one another. Gemini knows this better than anyone. Think of the people who make you happy and help you grow. This is the time to reach out, and celebrate these relationships together.
Cancer – The High Priestess
Cancer is an intuitive sign, and the High Priestess calls on you to turn that intuition inward for a moment. Are there feelings or needs you have been repressing? As you move forward, think about the work you need to do to help yourself grow.
Leo – Four of Wands
The magnetic charisma of Leo is a hallmark of the sign, and it can help them build and nurture a strong community. With communication and hard work, such a community can accomplish anything, and celebrate the results together.
Virgo – Ten of Swords
Sometimes, no amount of planning will be enough to account for all setbacks. This can be hard to accept, but Virgo’s resourcefulness will help you pull through. Give yourself time to rest and heal, reflect on what you’ve learned, and carry on.
Libra – Four of Cups
One of Libra’s strengths is the ability to see beauty all around them. Sometimes this feels impossible to do – but that is when it’s most important. Don’t turn your back on the world. Even if the way is hard, there is always something to celebrate.
Scorpio – Seven of Wands
The cards’ drive and perseverance, combined with Scorpio’s natural determination, mean your goals are within your grasp. The danger is in getting overwhelmed. If this happens, let yourself step back and refocus, and start again refreshed.
Sagittarius – The Hermit
Sagittarius likes to be on the move, but the Hermit wonders if you may be feeling a little lost. Think about where you want to go, and what you need to do to get there. Is there anyone you can ask for guidance? You don’t have to do everything alone.
Capricorn – Knight of Wands
If you could accomplish one thing this month, what would it be? This is the time to make it happen. Two Knights stand behind you, and Capricorn is there to guide your strategy. Take action, have patience, and do not be afraid.
Aquarius – Ace of Cups
The inherently curious Aquarius needs an outlet for their ideas and emotions. Whether it’s a new project or a familiar one, perhaps it’s time for a creative journey. But if you’re feeling run down, don’t push it – you can’t pour from an empty cup.
Pisces – Three of Cups
Though Pisces can have a tendency toward introversion, it is important not to let that turn into self-isolation. There is so much joy to be found in good relationships, and that doesn’t just mean with others. Let yourself be your own friend too.
